​Isabella was born 
in Mobile, Alabama. Her interests are primarily in fiction and screenwriting, where she writes about what inspires her: film, theater, sex, trauma, and human imperfection, blisters and all. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with an M.A. in Creative Writing.


She has been a student, a teacher, an editor, and a reader.​ Currently, she lives i​n Oregon with her boyfriend - also a writer - ​and their cat, who is not a writer but sometimes has a lot to say.
