​2020-2021 edition

With themes of chaos and erosion, this collection features exquisite art, fiction, poetry, essays, and photography submitted 2020-2021. The Oracle Fine Arts Review is published annually by the University of South Alabama. It features Creative Writing (fiction, stage and screenplays, mixed genre works, nonfiction, poetry) and Visual Arts (ceramics, drawing, glass, illustration, mixed media works, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture). The journal publishes in the Spring.
For this issue, I wanted pieces that disrupted as much as they did mend; pieces that turned our guts and woke us up, that both understood and rejected the common traits of narrative to present something interesting. I hoped for unique stories that dared us.
